Key Responsibilities Commercial Strategy Develop and execute the company's overall sales strategy aligned with business objectives. Build annual sales plans, budgets, and revenue forecasts. Identify new markets, industries, and strategic growth opportunities. Drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue expansion. Develop pricing and commercial strategies in collaboration with senior management. Sales Leadership Lead and inspire the entire sales organization. Manage Sales Managers, Team Leaders, and Sales Executives. Build a high-performance sales culture based on accountability and continuous improvement. Recruit, train, mentor, and develop top sales talent. Establish sales processes, playbooks, and performance standards. Business Development Build strategic relationships with: Large Importers & Exporters Manufacturers Multinational Companies Industrial Zones Government Entities Logistics Partners Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and strategic partnerships. Represent Freight In at industry events, exhibitions, and networking opportunities. Revenue & Performance Management Own and achieve company sales targets. Monitor and improve KPIs, including: Revenue Growth Gross Profit New Customer Acquisition Customer Retention Sales Pipeline Value Conversion Rate Sales Productivity Forecast Accuracy Analyze sales performance and implement improvement initiatives. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Operations, Pricing, Marketing, Product, Finance, and Customer Success teams. Ensure excellent customer experience throughout the sales lifecycle. Provide market insights to support product innovation and service development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a strong advantage. 10+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, or supply chain sales. 5+ years in senior sales leadership, managing multi-level sales teams. Proven success in achieving ambitious revenue and growth targets. Strong knowledge of: International Freight Forwarding Ocean Freight Air Freight Customs Clearance Supply Chain Solutions International Trade & Incoterms Excellent leadership, strategic planning, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Strong commercial and financial acumen. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications Extensive network across importers, exporters, manufacturers, and multinational companies. Experience leading digital transformation or logistics technology sales. Strong understanding of CRM systems and sales analytics. Knowledge of regional and international trade lanes. Experience building and scaling high-performing sales organizations.
