Our integrated logistics solutions include: Sea Freight Air Freight Inland Transportation Customs Clearance Bonded & Non-Bonded Warehousing Global Supply Chain Solutions We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead our operations team, optimize processes, ensure service excellence, and drive operational performance across all logistics services. Key Responsibilities Operations Leadership Lead and manage daily freight forwarding and logistics operations. Supervise Operations Managers, Team Leaders, Coordinators, and Operations Executives. Ensure seamless execution of import, export, sea freight, air freight, inland transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing operations. Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality. Operational Excellence Improve operational efficiency, productivity, and service quality. Monitor shipment execution from booking through final delivery. Ensure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and international shipping regulations. Resolve complex operational issues and implement preventive solutions. Drive continuous improvement initiatives and process automation. Performance Management Monitor and analyze operational KPIs, including: On-Time Shipment Performance Shipment Accuracy Customer Satisfaction Operational Productivity Cost Efficiency Claims & Exception Management Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and executive summaries. Develop action plans to improve team performance and service delivery. Team Development Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop operations professionals. Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs. Build a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance operations culture. Customer & Partner Management Build strong relationships with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, customs brokers, warehouses, and overseas agents. Support key customer accounts and ensure excellent service delivery. Collaborate with the Sales team to provide operational solutions for strategic customers. Cross-Functional Collaboration Work closely with Sales, Pricing, Finance, Customer Service, and IT teams. Support the implementation of new logistics technologies and digital workflows. Contribute to strategic planning and operational scalability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in freight forwarding, shipping, or logistics operations. 3+ years of experience managing operations teams. Strong knowledge of: Ocean Freight Operations Air Freight Operations Customs Clearance Import & Export Documentation Incoterms Inland Transportation Warehouse Operations Strong leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics management systems. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Preferred Qualifications Experience with ERP, TMS, WMS, or digital freight platforms. Strong understanding of international shipping regulations and trade compliance. Established relationships with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, and logistics partners. Experience managing multi-branch or regional operations is an advantage.
