The successful candidate will be responsible for managing vessel calls from nomination to sailing, ensuring the highest standards of operational excellence, client satisfaction, and compliance with Egyptian maritime regulations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Port Agency, Suez Canal Transit, General Cargo Vessel Operations, Vessel Husbandry, and Maritime Services, with the ability to coordinate efficiently with shipowners, operators, charterers, vessel masters, port authorities, terminals, and government entities. Key Responsibilities Manage the complete operational cycle of vessel calls from pre-arrival to final departure. Coordinate and execute Suez Canal Transit operations, ensuring timely nominations, documentation, authority approvals, and transit arrangements. Handle Port Agency operations at all Egyptian ports, ensuring seamless vessel turnaround. Coordinate directly with vessel masters, owners, operators, charterers, P&I Clubs, brokers, and international principals. Arrange and supervise all vessel husbandry services, including crew changes, cash to master, bunkering coordination, fresh water supply, spare parts delivery, provisions, waste disposal, launch services, medical assistance, repairs, and other owner protective services. Coordinate with port authorities, Suez Canal Authority, customs, immigration, quarantine, terminals, pilots, tug operators, and service providers to ensure smooth vessel operations. Prepare, review, and submit all operational documentation, vessel reports, Statements of Facts, port documentation, and service reports accurately and on time. Monitor vessel schedules, port activities, weather conditions, and operational developments to minimize delays and optimize vessel turnaround. Maintain continuous communication with clients, providing timely operational updates and proactive solutions to operational challenges. Work closely with internal commercial and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery and customer satisfaction. Ensure full compliance with company procedures, local regulations, and international maritime standards. Handle multiple vessel calls simultaneously while maintaining high operational efficiency and attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • Requirements 3–7 years of proven experience in Shipping Agency, Port Agency, Vessel Operations, or Maritime Services. Strong operational knowledge of: Suez Canal Transit Procedures Port Agency Operations General Cargo, Bulk, Breakbulk, RoRo, Tanker, and Multipurpose Vessel Operations Vessel Husbandry Services Egyptian Port Regulations and Procedures Maritime Documentation and Reporting Excellent understanding of vessel operations from arrival planning through departure. Experience dealing directly with shipowners, operators, charterers, vessel masters, and maritime authorities. Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple vessel operations simultaneously. Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
