Our integrated solutions include: Sea Freight Air Freight Inland Transportation Customs Clearance Bonded & Non-Bonded Warehousing General Cargo Management Global Supply Chain Solutions Digital Freight Management Platform Location New Cairo, Egypt Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Air Freight Operations Executive to join our Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the complete air freight shipment cycle from booking confirmation to final delivery, ensuring smooth coordination between customers, airlines, overseas agents, ground handlers, customs brokers, and internal teams. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in air freight operations, strong knowledge of airline procedures, air cargo documentation, shipment coordination, and the ability to deliver high-quality logistics solutions while meeting customer expectations and operational deadlines. Key Responsibilities Air Freight Operations Management Manage end-to-end air freight operations from shipment booking to final delivery. Coordinate air cargo shipments with airlines, GSSAs, overseas agents, ground handlers, and trucking providers. Handle import and export air freight shipments efficiently and ensure timely execution. Monitor flight schedules, cargo status, transit times, and shipment milestones. Coordinate cargo pickups, airport handling, customs clearance, and final delivery arrangements. Ensure all shipments are executed according to customer requirements and company standards. Documentation & Compliance Prepare, review, and verify all air freight documentation, including: Air Waybills (AWB) Commercial Invoices Packing Lists Shipping Instructions Customs Documentation Certificates and supporting documents Ensure compliance with airline requirements, customs regulations, and international trade procedures. Maintain accurate shipment records and operational files. Prepare shipment reports and operational updates. Customer & Partner Coordination Maintain continuous communication with customers, providing shipment updates and proactive solutions. Coordinate with overseas agents to ensure smooth origin and destination handling. Build strong relationships with airlines, service providers, and logistics partners. Handle operational issues, delays, and exceptions professionally and efficiently. Provide accurate information regarding shipment status, schedules, and delivery arrangements. Internal Coordination Work closely with Sales, Pricing, Customs Clearance, and Finance teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Coordinate with the Pricing team regarding airline rates, surcharges, and operational requirements. Support commercial teams with operational information and customer solutions. Ensure all shipments are properly updated in the company systems and digital platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or related field. 2–5 years of experience in Air Freight Operations within a freight forwarding company. Strong knowledge of air cargo procedures, airline operations, and IATA standards. Experience handling import and export air shipments. Good understanding of AWB procedures, Incoterms®, customs processes, and international shipping documentation. Strong communication and coordination skills. Good command of English, both written and spoken. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience with freight management systems is an advantage. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and customer-focused mindset.
